Our Team
Fleet Feet Sports Tulsa is locally owned and operated by Lori and Tim Dreiling. Both are graduates of the University of Tulsa and Memorial High School and have been involved in Tulsa’s running community since moving back to Tulsa in 1992. They have one son, Drew, who is in seventh grade in Tulsa.
Tim ran track and cross country in high school and has participated in numerous races from 5k’s and 10k’s to half marathons and marathons. Tim has run 19 marathons, including the Berlin Marathon. He needs to just finish the London Marathon to have done the “Five Marathon Majors”. In 2006 he joined with other Tulsa Fleet Feeter’s to form Team One that participated in the Wild West Relay in Colorado where his team covered 195 miles in 28 hours.
Lori, a native of Tulsa, started running in College to stay in shape and has since completed six marathons (ran five and walked one) and numerous half marathons, 5k’s, and 10k’s. She most recently ran the New York City Marathon in November 2010.
Tim and Lori took their passion for running and turned it into a business when they opened Fleet Feet Sports in Tulsa in 2003. They are the former publishers of Oklahoma Sports & Fitness Magazine, which provides a comprehensive race calendar and race results for Oklahoma and the surrounding area (they owned the magazine for nine years.)
In 2003, Tim started Fleet Feet Timing, a race management company. Tim was the first electronic/Champion Chip timer in the state of Oklahoma. Tim has since timed and/or managed over 350 events in Oklahoma and the surrounding region, including the first three Route 66 Marathons and the 2008 and 2009 Oklahoma City Memorial Marathons. In 2009 Tim sold the timing business, but Fleet Feet Tulsa continues to provide high quality event management services for key partner races in and around the Tulsa area. Through our events arm, Fleet Feet Tulsa produces such great local events like the Sweetheart Run, Cinco de Mayo Run, Aquarium Run, Full Moon Run, Firecracker 5k, McNellie’s Pub Run, and the Turkey Trot. Our events group also produces three multi-sport events a year, the Will Rogers Tri, the Christa Voss Du, and the Lake Claremore Tri. All told, Fleet Feet Tulsa managed races attended by over 15,000 local athletes in 2011. These events allowed Fleet Feet to donate more than $40,000 to local charities in 2011.
Tim and Lori Dreiling
Owners of Fleet Feet Sports
Tim and Lori now own two Fleet Feet stores in the Tulsa area. They recently expanded their KingsPointe Village Store (at 61st & Yale Ave) in August 2012 to almost twice it’s original size. This newly expanded store now allows for easier shopping, an improved product selection, and the ability to host clinics, as well as training programs all on the same evening. They are also still focused on their Blue Dome Store, located in downtown Tulsa, to service the ever-growing downtown and surrounding suburbs.

Ryan Nowlin
Half Marathon/Marathon Coordinator
I have been a coach and/ or coordinator of our programs since: I have been coaching for about 8 years and coordinating for 2 years.
I enjoy being a program coordinator because: I love working with all of the participants as well as creating the schedules and course maps. It’s been fun to work with all of the coaches and to get to know more participants than I would have just coaching. It’s been especially fun to see participants “grow up” in our programs. We now have several No Boundaries runners and Walk Fit walkers who just started training with us a few sessions back and who are now training for their first half marathon.
My favorite race is: McNellie’s Pub Run
My fitness goal for 2013 is: To survive the Spring Session of Advanced Half Marathon Training (my first).
An interesting fact about me is: I’m an only child and I have 4 sisters (I’m my mom’s only child, but my dad has 4 other girls).
If you have questions about our half or full program (called the Fall or Spring Program) feel free to email me at: Ryan@fleetfeettulsa.com

My favorite race is: Any one with a big medal at the end. I don’t think I could pick just one race. All of them have been enjoyable for different reasons. My favorite distance is definitely the half marathon.
My fitness goal for 2013 is: To lose weight and to improve my half marathon time.
An interesting fact about me is: I was born and raised on the West Coast of Canada and logged more than 400 cold water scuba dives before I moved to Oklahoma. Also a mom to 3 crazy kids!
