TRAIN TO IMPROVE YOUR HALF OR FULL MARATHON

The Fleet Feet Tulsa Advanced Marathon and Half Marathon Training Programs (AMT/AHT) are designed for runners of all abilities who have the desire to improve upon past performance. Participants from past programs have trained for 3:20 to 6:00 goal marathons. The AMT/AHT Programs are unique in that throughout a training season the Coach provides training advice and adjusts workouts to maximize the success of each individual runner. In addition, the workouts for the AMT/AHT Program are progressive in nature (each workout builds on previous workouts), adding mileage and speed at the same time. Paces are dictated and workouts are focused on current fitness level so that the increase in mileage and speed can be done safely. The program has proven to be very successful. Since the start of the program, 92% of participants that have completed the AMT/AHT program have had a personal record in their goal race with rare occurrence of injury. Must have run at least three marathons to qualify or a combination of three marathons/half marathons to gain approval for the AHT program. PROGRAM FORMAT
Each Session Includes:

- 2 weekly organized runs with individualized coaching
- 1 Saturday Morning organized and coached training Run
- Individualized training schedule based on personal goal race

   
SESSIONS GOAL RACES
16 - 24 weeks Race Fee Not Included

Spring 2017: Jan 9 - Apr 29 or 30
Fall 2017: Jun 5 - Nov 19

Spring: Golden Driller Half or Full Marathon or OKC Half or Full Marathon (Or any Half or Full Marathon of your choice)
Fall: Route 66 Marathon (Or any Half or Full Marathon of your choice)
 
COACHED GROUP RUNS BONUS WORKOUTS
Weekly Schedule Dependent on Goal Race

SATURDAY MORNING RUNS: Location will rotate between Fleet Feet stores, start time
will vary by season.

A detailed training schedule aimed at your goal race will be given to you via email after you have registered for the program.
