Fleet Feet Bike Training is an endurance cycling training program for beginner to advanced-intermediate cyclists to train for mass-start group rides like Tulsa Tough's fondos (not the criterium racing). Emphasis is on increasing endurance and safe, efficient group-riding skills. A standard road bike with drop handlebars, multiple gears and slick, road tires is highly recommended. Triathlon/time-trial bikes and hybrid bikes are allowed. No mountain/fat bikes. Bicycle must be in safe, working condition to participate. Participants should have a working knowledge of their bicycle (including braking and changing gears) and be able to ride at least one hour at 10-12 miles per hour by the start of the program.
