2011 Aquarium Run Courses Posted
The Half Marathon and 5km Courses for the May 21, 2011 Aquarium Run have been posted – they are available for download below. The 5km course remains the same as it was for 2010, going through Riverwalk crossing and into Jenks before returning to the Aquarium.
The half marathon course is all new for 2011, and will first do the 5km course before moving to paved trails for the remainder of the race. The course will utilize both the Riverparks system on the east side of the Arkansas River as well as the Creek Turnpike Trail from Riverside Drive to Yale Avenue. The course will also include paved trails on the Jenks side of the River.
Online packets are available at the Fleet Feet Tulsa location you specified during registration.
Beginning Monday May 16 you can also register in person at either Fleet Feet location in Tulsa.
The Oklahoma Aquarium Run promotes physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle while raising funds for Aquarium educational programs and exhibits. The event features a half-marathon, 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk. Plus a post-race cook-out on McGraw Beach, a kids zone and free race-day Aquarium admission for registered runners and walkers!
