New product feature: Soleus GPS 1.0 watch

There’s a new product on the shelves that Fleet Feet buyer Lance Miller recommends for novice runners who are ready to start tracking and improving their training times, but don’t need all the high-tech functionality of the typical Garmin GPS watch.

The Soleus GPS 1.0 watch is a GPS-equipped training watch designed to fit and feel more like a sports watch. The smaller device records speed and distance, and works in chronographic mode for accurate tracking, but doesn’t contain the multiple options of other GPS devices.

Fewer bells and whistles bring a lower price. At $99, the Soleus is perfect for those who aren’t in hardcore training mode in multiple sports. The limited functionality also makes it easier to use.

Lance is currently taking the Soleus on a test run. His favorite part so far is the smaller size that feels more like a standard sports watch that happens to be recording speed and distance.

Currently, the Soleus is in stock at both stores, but supplies won’t last long so stop in today for yours.
