The New Balance 1210′s have arrived in time for our “Trail-Gating” event Sun Feb 3 at Turkey Mountain at 1pm. One lucky event attendee who officially registered here (it’s free) will win a FREE pair of New Balance 1210′s at this event. This event includes guided 2 and 4 mile trail run and walks and there will be hotdogs, hamburgers and beverages for your post workout “Trail-Gating”. Our trained staff will be onsite to provide tips and education about trail running and walking. Test drive shoes have all been reserved, however you may be able to try them out for a short spin after the main run & walk event.
The 1210′s are lightweight, but protective, and can handle everything from a Sunday afternoon jaunt on Turkey Mountain to the Leadville 100 – a 100 mile footrace central to the creation of this shoe. This shoe is designed to be as light as possible without sacrificing support and comfort and to reduce the chance of blisters to the absolute minimum. Instead of a typical rock-plate, the 1210 integrates the N2 cushioning system first introduced in the 1080v2 to serve as lightweight cushioning and modest rock protection. A REVlite midsole, which is used on New Balance performance trainers and racing flats, offers a soft ride while being 30% lighter than traditional EVA. A Vibram outsole for maximum traction and a flexible, accommodating upper round out this versatile trail shoe package. These are $125.
