KRMG: Heat drives runners away from LaFortune trail during day

Tulsa, Okla. — Getting up as early as 4:00 a.m. to train, most runners find that running before dawn is the only feasible to keep up with their regimen and stay on track for things like the upcoming Tulsa Run and Route 66 Marathon.

"This truly is dangerous heat," said Fleet Feet owner Lori Dreiling.
