Plan well before beginning an exercise program

Whether walking, running or going to the gym, summer is the time many people decide to begin or restart an exercise program.

People who do so should take into account their current level of fitness and set attainable goals that will keep them motivated, said Lori Dreiling, owner of Fleet Feet in Tulsa.

"First of all, you need to have sort of a plan of attack," she said.
