NAME: Golden Driller Marathon and Half Marathon
DATE/TIME: Saturday, April 29, 2017
LOCATION: Tulsa River Parks Festival West Park
DISTANCE & TIMES: 5K, 10K, Half, and Full Marathon
Marathon and Half-Marathon start at 7:00 am
Start times for the 5K and 10K will be 7:30 am
All courses are on the paved and smooth Riverparks Trail system. This is NOT an off-road trail run.
Refund and Transfer Policy
All registrations are final. No refunds within 30 days of event. No make-up date in the event the race is cancelled due to weather. Entries are not transferrable.
Races will be limited in size due to the capacity of the trail system. We expect all races to sell out well in advance of the race date so we encourage you to register early.
All finishers will receive a fantastic GOLDEN DRILLER medal. This is one you will want to collect!
Overall and Age Group Awards
The top male and female in each event will receive a special award. The top 3 finishers in each age group in the 5K, 10K, marathon, and half marathon will also receive an award. Awards will be available post-race at the awards table in the finish line area.

Great food and beer from Marshall’s Brewing for those over 21. Breakfast tacos provided by Chimi's of Tulsa.
Packet pickup will be at all Fleet Feet Tulsa/Broken Arrow locations beginning on Wednesday of race week. Packets can also be picked up on race day at the start/finish line although we do not recommend waiting to pick up your packet. No packets will be mailed.
NO ANIMALS, STROLLERS, ROLLER BLADES, SKATES, SCOOTERS OR BICYCLES ARE PERMITTED ON THE RACE COURSE.
The marathon line will be closed at 8 hours. Aid stations will close at a 8 hour finish pace (approx 18 minutes/mile).
We are using the MYLAPS timing system to ensure that everyone receives an accurate time. Per USATF Rule 245.1, Open Men’s and Women’s and Master Men’s and Women’s top finisher awards in the Marathon and the Half Marathon will be based on gun time (the order in which the athletes cross the finish line). Age group and Relay awards will be based on timing system time (the actual time elapsed between an athlete reaching the starting line and finish line).
Sports drink (Nuun) and water will be provided at the aid stations (see aid station course maps).
Energy Gels will be available for marathoners after mile 16. (at Aid Station #4)
Results will be posted live during the race online. Print-outs will also be available at the Finish Line.
