Training for the 2018 Williams Route 66 Marathon on your own? Not sure what to do for your longest workout of the training season? With a 13/14 mile option for half marathon hopefuls and 20/22 miles for marathoners (or future marathoners) we have you covered for this critical workout with coached pace groups (who are also in charge of navigation), frequent water stops and course support (sag wagon). Participants in this FREE event will receive all the benefits of our paid training programs for this one workout.
This event is intended for intermediate to advanced runners and walkers. This is not referring to the SPEED of a participant, we have pace groups for 8:30/mile to 16:00/mile, but their current training level. Participants in the 13 mile option should have completed 10-12 miles recently and participants in the 20 mile option should have completed 16-18 miles recently as part of their training for a fall race.
